Initial Area = 161*136 = last digit will be 6,
Now if we increase the length and width according to each option
then given that
outer area - inner area = area of path
outer area - a number whose last digit is 6 = 1204
so last digit area must be 0,
now use options
option A, 163*138 = last digit will be 4
option B, 171*146 = last digit will be 6
option C, 165*140 = last digit will be 0
option D, 172*147 = last digit will be 4
So the correct option is C.

(l+b+2x)*2x=area,(161+136+2x)2x=1204 after this use hit & trial method using options
