Question:
27 small cubes of equal size are aligned in such a way that a big cube could be formed. Now five surfaces of this big cube are painted with red colour and the remaining surface is left unpainted. Then how many cubes are there which have no surfaces painted ?
Options:
A) 2
B) 4
C) 1
D) 6
Solution:
Ans: (a) CDGH is left unpainted and the centre place of this face gives one unpainted cube. And the central part of this cube also gives one unpainted cube.


= 1 + 1 = 2
