Question:

Avinash wants to invite his friends for his birthday party. He has 10 friends out of which 5 are boys and the rest are girls. In how many ways can he invite them if he decides to invite just 2 girls?

Options:
A) 1200
B) 640
C) 320
D) \((5!)^2\)
Solution:

Ans: (c) Number of way selecting 2 out of the 5 girls = 5C2 = 10 

Each of the boy can either be invited or not invited 

Hence number of ways = 25 = 32

∴ total number ways of inviting = 32 × 10 = 320 ways.
