A corner of a cube of side length 8 m, when cut by a plane which bisects the sides of the cube, we get a pyramid whose volume is –

Dear Student,

The shape of the metal removed is a pyramid with a right triangle as a base and height 4 cm. The volume of a pyramid is given by the formula:

B= 1/2*4*4=8
H=4
V= 1/3*B*H
V= 1/3*8*4= 32/3=10.67m^3
