Dear student
Given answer is correct
Please solve the question carefully
Given In Question
Thief goes 5 steps and police moves 6 step
And 3 steps of the policeman is equal to 6 steps of the thief
3 x P = 6 x T
P = 6 , T = 3
so, Police = 6 x 6 = 36
Thief = 5 x 3 = 15
Then the ratio = 12 : 5

Best wishes
