In a barrack of soldiers there was stock for 55 days for 300 soldiers. After 31 days     100 soldiers left the barrack. for how many days shall the leftover food last for the     remaining soldiers?
Options:
A) 42 days
B) 51 days
C) 36 days
D) 34 days

Dear Student,

This Question solved by the time and work concept, Here M= number of men, D= no. of days, T= Time and W= work. In given question time and work not given so we ignore it,
food stock available for 300 soldiers after 31 days = (55-31=24),
here we compare the remaining days for availability of food stock, so we subtract. In another side 100 soldiers were left the barrack, thus only 200 soldiers are there, after comparing we get number of days.
