Question:
A cubic metre of gold is extended by hammering so as to cover an area of 5 hectares. Find the thickness of the gold.
Options:
A) 0.0002 m
B) 0.0003 m
C) 0.00002 m
D) 0.00004 m
Solution:

Ans: (C)

Old volume = new volume

1 cube m  = 50000 × thickness

thickness =  1/50000 m = 0.00002 m
