can any1 tell how did we calculate the radius of smaller circle

Question:

Two circles are placed in an equilateral triangle as shown in the figure. What is the ratio of the smaller circle to that of the equilateral triangle?

calculate the prependicular length of equilateral triangle and then minus the radius of bigger circle which is equal to the 2*1/3of under root3/2 of side of equilateral triangle
