How can the length be 5units and width be 17units????

Question:
If the length of a rectangle is increased by 2 units and width is decreased by 2 units, then its area is increased by 20 sq. unit. If length has been decreased by 2 units and width is decreased by 1 unit, then its area is decreased by 37 sq. unit. The area of the rectangle in sq. unit is:
