I cant get it

Question:

A cubic metre of copper weighing 9000 kg is rolled into a square bar 9 m long. An exact cube is cut off from the bar. How much does the cube weighs ?

Dear Student,

Please read the sentence carefully... here a cube meter of copper (volume = 1m^3) and we cut a square bar 9 meter long... if we cut a shape from solid body we get solid body after cutting. so the volume of whole part.
9*(l*b)=1
for square shape l=b=a
9*(a*a)=1
a^2= 1/9
a= 1/9
and volume of cube = 1/27
and weight= 1/27*9000= 1000/3.
