please explain the question does it main we need to find pairs which has 26 alphabets between them? (Question: 186004.0 )

How many pairs are there in the word 'HORIZON' which have as many letters between them as in the English alphabet ?
Options:

Alternate Sol:

Need to see number of pairs of words have as many letter as in English alphabet:

HORIZON

In forward direction:

HN

In reverse direction:

NO

OR

NR

So, required number of pair= 4

Exactly, you have to see both set of letters viz. the set of letter of the given word and the set of 26 letters of English alphabet. In each pair, at both places same number of aplphabets gap should be. See the alternate solution explored.
