Solution:
Ans: (c) Young fold Mountains : –

(i) Mountains that have rugged relief and high conical peaks are called young fold mountains.

(ii) They are new folds with very little wear and tear.

Example : – Himalayas, Alps, Andes etc.

Old Fold Mountains :–

(i) Mountains that have rounded feature and low elevation are called old fold mountains.

(ii) They are worn out old folds.

Example : – Aravallis, Applachians, Ural etc.
