options issue (Question: 162884.0 )

respected toprankers,
the option radius here is not correct because resistance is inversely proportional to the area. now the area is directly proportional to the square of the radius.hence in the options square of radius must be given.

Question:

What is the electrical resistance of a wire inversely proportional to:

Options:
A)

Length 

B)

Resistivity of the material

C)

Square of radius 

D)

None of these

Solution:

Resistance of a wire is inversely proportional to the area of cross-section of the wire, i.e. the square of radius
