would you please give a solution without option. because it is asking can you solve the question by the data given in the question. and the data is insufficient to solve the question.

Question:
The total age of all the guests in the party was 540 years. If a couple (guests) left the party, then the average of the remaining guests still remained unchanged, where the age of both the husband and wife (couple) was same, then the average age of this couple and the total number of guests in the party, respectively, can be:
Options:
A) 18, 27 
B) 20, 27
C) 15, 38 
D) Can’t be determined
Solution:

Ans: (b) Go through option,

 540/27 = 20

\(\cfrac{540-(2\times20)}{25}=\cfrac{500}{25}\)

= 20

Hence option (b) is correct.
