focus is infinite
radius = 1 / focus
radius = 0

Question:

The radius of curvature of a plane mirror  –

Options:
A) can be anywhere between zero and infinity
B) is infinity
C) is zero
D) None of these
Solution:
Ans: (b) The radius of curvature of a plane mirror is infinite because every surface is a part of a sphere. So, plane mirror will be part of a sphere of infinite radius.

@swati chaudhary The radius determines how much the mirror will curve. If the radius is really small, the mirror will be really curved; if the radius is large, the mirror will be less curved.

Consider how curved a mirror with a radius of curvature the size of a marble would be, versus a mirror with a radius of curvature the size of a beach ball. Now consider how curved a mirror with a radius of curvature the size of the earth--and imagine how flat that would seem if you stood on it.

In fact, the larger the radius of curvature, the flatter the surface will appear. Thus, a perfectly flat surface will occur when the radius of curvature equals infinity.

you are wrong. focus is infinite for plane mirror. and it is clearly mention in NCERT Books of class 10 and 12. i have read in m.sc physics also

A plane mirror is flat. It won't have any curved surface, consequently. Therefore geometrically the radius is considered as infinite.
