It is also possible. In that case, "little worried" will be correct. Then, how can we mark option A as incorrect?

Question:
DIRECTIONS: In questions below, some part of the sentences have errors and some are correct. Find out which part of a sentence has an error and select the appropriate option. If a sentence is free from error, select ‘No Error’.

I was little worried about the exam and the interview.

Options:
A) I was little worried
B) about the exam
C) and the interview
D)

No error

Solution:
Ans: (a) The phrase “little worried” is incorrect. It is to be replaced with “a little worried”. There is a difference between “little” and “a little”. “Little” means ‘not at all’ or ‘no’. “A little” means ‘some’. So you can be ‘a little worried’ about the exam. But to say you were ‘little worried’ about the exam would be incorrect.
