HOW COULD WE FIND THE DISTANCE B/W HIS END LOCATION TO HIS HOUSE WHEN THERE IS NOT A SINGLE REFERENCE ABOUT WHERE HIS HOUSE WOULD BE ??

Question:
Keshav went 120 km to north from his office, then turned right and went 60 km, again turned right and went 60 km, finally turned left and went 20 km. How many km will he have driven to reach home without taking any turn?
Options:
A) 60 km
B) 80 km
C) 100 km
D) 120 km
Solution:
Ans: (c)

Required distance

AE = \(\sqrt{80^2 + 60^2}\)

= \(\sqrt{6400 + 3600}\)

= \(\sqrt{10000}\)

= 100 km

WORD 'OFFICE' SHOULD BE REPLACED WITH 'HOME'
