difference b/w (each) internal of two polygon of (no of sides n1 , n2) = difference b/w (each) external angle of two polygon of (no of sides n1, n2)
Ex ;
if n1 = 5 external angle (E5) =72 ;internal angle (I5) = 108
if n1 = 6 external angle (E6) =60 ;internal angle (I6) = 120

==> I6 - I5 = 120 -108 = 12
==> E6 -E5 = 72 - 60 = 12

Question:
The ratio of number of sides of two regular polygons is 5 : 4 and the difference between each internal angles of both the regular polygons is 6, then the number of sides are :
Options:
A) 15, 12
B) 5, 4
C) 10, 8
D) 20, 16
Solution:
Ans: (a) Taking option (a) : number of sides = 15, 12

(are in the ratio 5 : 4)

The difference of internal angles = \(\cfrac{360}{15}\approx\cfrac{360}{12}=6\) (satisfying)

Hence, option(a) is the correct option.
