Not understand (Question:382315.0)

7x+3/5x+2. =17/12 how..??


I think it should be {7x/12+3/5}÷{5x/12+2/5} =17/12

Question:

Two mixture A and B are taken which contains water and alcohal in the ratio 7 : 5 and 3 : 2 respectively. Total quantity of mixture B is 5 Litre. Some mixture of A is taken out and mixed with B such that now the ratio of water and alcohal in B becomes 17 : 12. If 10 litres of A is remaining now, then initially what quantity of mixture A was taken  –
