Not explained properly (Question:279555.0)

Speed is halved in 3rd hr so it should be x instead of 4x .

Question:

Progressive express left for New Delhi, increasing its speed in each hour. It started its journey from Lucknow, but after four hour of its journey it met with accident. Its speed in the fourth hours was  75     times that of the third hour and the speed of the third hour was  107     times that of the second hour and in the second hour it was  75   times that of the first hour. It would have been travelled with the half of the speed that of the third hour, then it would have gone 160 km less in the same time (in 4 hours). The average speed of the train during the journey of 4 hours was?

4x is not speed it is distance travekked by speed of x in 4 hours
