Question:

DIRECTIONS: In the following questions, some of the sentences have errors and some are correct. Find out which part of a sentence has an error and blacken the oval corres-ponding to the appropriate letter (a, b, c). If a sentence is free from errors, blacken the oval corresponding to (d) in the Answer Sheet.

All the staffs of this office hold the view (a)/that mr. sinha is a very wise (b)/and an intelligent officer. (c)/No error. (d)

Options:
A)

(a)

B)

(b)

C)

(c)

D)

(d)

Solution:

Ans: (c) Omit 'an'. The adjectives "very wise" and "intelligent" both apply to the same noun "officer" so they only need one article at the beginning.
