proper solution needed

Question:

Two wheels having gears moves in contact with each  other. The number of spokes in one wheel is 25 and on the other is 30. If the larger wheel moves 75 rounds per minute, then how many rounds the smaller wheel will move in 12 minutes?

Options:
A) 720
B) 1080
C) 360
D) 1200
Solution:
Ans: (b)

L.C.M. of 25 and 30 = 150

Round made by smaller wheel = \(\cfrac{150}{25}=6\)

Round made by larger wheel = \(\cfrac{150}{30}=5\)

Now, the number of rounds moved by smaller wheel per minutes  = \(\cfrac{6}{5}\times75=90\)

\(\therefore\) The number of rounds moved by smaller wheel in 12 minutes

=  90 × 12 = 1080

Its so clear solution:

L.C.M. of 25 and 30 = 150

Round made by smaller wheel = 150/25=6

Round made by larger wheel = 150/30=5

Now, the number of rounds moved by smaller wheel per minutes = (6/5)×75=90

∴ The number of rounds moved by smaller wheel in 12 minutes
= 90 × 12 = 1080
