Question:
P, A, D, Q, T, M, R and B are sitting around a circle facing at the centre. D is third to the left of T who is fifth to the right of P. A is third to the right of B who is second to the right of D. Q is second to the left of M. Then who is third to the right of P?

B) M
C) R

Ans: (b)

Step-1: Draw a circle and mark 8 separate arrows facing centre.

Step-2: 2nd line of the text states-

P * D * * T

Step-3:  3rd line of the text states-

D * B * * A

Step-4: 4th line of the text states-

Q * M

Step-5: Combine (step-2 and step-3)’s arrangement-

P * D * B T * A

[Remember- Only 8 peoples are there]

Step-6: Place (step-4)’s arrangement in (Step-5)’s arrangement-

P Q D M B T * A

Step-7: Place the rest name in rest black-

P Q D M B T R A

Step-8: Put it on the circle which you drawn in step-1-


Hence, M is 3rd to the right of P.
