In contrast, the construction of great temples, which had seemingly have presented great engineering difficulties, was relatively easy.
Options:
A) had seemingly presented
B) had been seemed present
C) was seemingly presenting
D) no improvement 
Solution:
Ans: (a) 'had seemingly presented' should replace the underlined part. The sentence is of past tense, so an option having grammatically correct usage of past tense should be used.
