Ans-(b): Difference between number of items of type-1 produced by company-M and that of type-2 by company-N is :

February ⇒532−54=478
March ⇒765−765=0
April ⇒665−80=585
May ⇒424−54=370
June ⇒568−546=22.

2nd lowest has been asked so in June required differences was second lowest.
