mirror reflection is way more tricky for this type (Question: 201914.0 )

can't we just simply solve as per the question asked, why would I assume and make it more complex that the time given is a mirror reflection? if it has to be solved like this, it should mention in the question.

Question:
If at 7:45pm, the minute hand points towards East, then in which direction will the hour hand point ?
Options:
A) North
B) South-West
C) South-East
D) None of these
Solution:
Ans: (c)

at 7:45pm, the minute hand points towards East that means clock was reversed, so we assume that the time was seen in a mirror, thus hour hand pointed in south- East direction.
