if radius is ''R" new radius is 5R
if circumference is 2piR then new circumference is 10piR

(in question you said radius is increased 5 times and you did not take new radius is 6R. Hence in the same way circumference also 5 times not 4 times)

i hope you understand my problem

Question:
If the radius of a circle is increased 5 times, then how many times will its circumference  increase ?
Options:
A) 4 times 
B) 8 times 
C) 5 times 
D) \(\cfrac{1}{2}\) times

C is the correct answer if we go by the language of the question. Usage of by/to before "5 times " could help clearing the ambiguity.

guys the given solution is correct. how many times change in circumference becomes is asked not that how many times circumference becomes

correct man if radius is increased five times then they should take it 6R as per their solution ....Knowledge expert where are you?
