low quality of solution (Question: 108827.0 )

seeing your solutions is just as the ncert you must keep in mind that we have only got 2 hours for 100 question how could anybody have solved this if solved than atleast give relevant and easy solution

Question:

The population of a village is 2000, if there is an increament of 10% in the first 2 years and 5% in the last three years then what will be the population after five years (approx.)?

Options:
A) 2500
B) 2800
C) 3000
D) 3200
Solution:
Ans: (b) Population= 2000×1.1×1.1×1.05×1.05×1.05\(\approx\)2800 (approx.)
