can any one plz explane again

Question:

A is twice as fast as B and B is thrice as fast as C is. The journey covered by C in 3/2 hours will be covered by A in _____.

Options:
A) 15 minutes
B) 20 minutes
C) 30 minutes
D) 1 hour
Solution:

Ans: (a)

Let x kmph be the speed of B.

Let 2x kmph be the speed of A.

Speed of C = x/3  kmph

(Speed of A)/(Speed of C) = \(\frac{2x}{(\frac{x}{3})}\) = 6

Required time = \(\frac{(\frac{1}{6})}{(\frac{3}{2})}\)  hrs.

= \(\frac{1}{3}\times\frac{3}{2}\)=\(\frac{1}{4}\)  hrs. = 15 min.

Dear Student,
Let Speed of C = x km/h
Therefore Speed of B = 3x km/h
And Speed of A = 6x km/h
Ratio of speed of A,B,C = 6:3:1
Ratio of speed of A,C = 6:1
And thus Ratio of time of A,C = 1:6
Time taken by C is given as 3/2 hrs , thus by using ratio time by A = 15 minutes.
