levelled eye

Question:
DIRECTIONS: In the following questions, some of the sentences have errors and some are correct. Find out which part of a sentence has an error and blacken the rectangle corresponding to the appropriate letter (A, B, C). If a sentence is free from errors, mark the option (D).

He had looked upon me (A)/ level-eyed for (B)/ a few moments before he spoke.(C)/ No error (D)

Options:
A) (A)
B) (B)
C) (C)
D) (D)
Solution:
Preposition 'At' will replace 'upon' in option (A) of the sentence.  The word A LEVEL- EYED means a level that is as high as a person's eyes.

Thus, option A is correct.
