I gave 250 sec in this question then I left it

Question:

DIRECTIONS: Answer the below questions based upon the information given in figure and table.

Total Number of Books = 88500

If each fiction costs Rs.15.50 and GK costs Rs.12.50. What is the cost of each non-fiction book provided that total business of C is Rs.120360?

Options:
A)

9

B)

10

C)

11

D)

12

Solution:

Ans: (c)

Total business of C = Rs.120,360

Total no. of books sold by store C = 10/100 × 88500 = 8850

No. of fiction = 15/30 × 8850 = 4425

Total cost = 4425 × 31/2 Rs.68587.5

Number of Non-fiction = 8/30 × 8850 = 2360

Number of GK books = 7/30 × 8850 = 2065

Total cost = 2065 × 25/2 Rs.25812.5

Total cost of Non-fiction = Rs.120,360 – Rs.68587.5 – Rs.25812.5 = Rs.25960

Price per copy = 25960/2360= 11
