(\therefore \ sin\ x=\pm \cfrac{\sqrt{3}}{2}\)

चूँकि 0 < x < 2\(\pi\)

\(\therefore \ sin\ x=\pm \cfrac{\sqrt{3}}{2}

Question:

If 4 sin2 x - 3 = 0, 0 < x < 2\(\pi\), then the values of x are:

Options:
A) 30°, 120°, 210°, 330°
B) 30°, 150°, 240°, 300°
C) 60°, 120°, 240°, 300°
D) 60°, 150°, 270°, 330°
Solution:

Ans: (c)

4 sin2 x - 3 = 0

or sin2x = \(\cfrac{3}{4}\)

\(\therefore \ sin\ x=\pm \cfrac{\sqrt{3}}{2}\)

since 0 < x < 2\(\pi\)

\(\therefore \ sin\ x=\pm \cfrac{\sqrt{3}}{2}\)= sin 60°, sin 120°, sin 240°, sin 300°
