Options:

B) Saturday
C) Sunday
D) Monday
Solution:
Ans: (b)

Both 1900 and 1901 are ordinary years.
17th December, 1899 was Saturday.
So, 17th December 1900 will be 1 day beyond Saturday, i.e. it will be Sunday.
So, 17th December, 1901 will be 1 day beyond Sunday, i.e. it will be Monday.
18th -> Tuesday
19 W
20 T
21 F

[ leap year = 1. Every year divisible by 4, if it is not a century.
2. Only every 4th century is a leap year. i.e. 400, 800, 1200, 1600, 2000, 2400 .... are leap years.

1 leap year = 366 days = 52 weeks + 2 days
1 ordinary year = 365 days = 52 weeks + 1 day]
