let k=10%, n=2
then, effective rate of 1yr= 5+5+(5*5)/100
=10.25%
now put the values of K and n in given options and match the answer

B) \(\left (1+ \cfrac {k}{n} \right )^n-1\)
C) \(\cfrac{100}{n}\left [x \left ( 1+\cfrac{k}{100}\right )^n-1 \right ]\)
