Solution:

The 42nd Constitutional Amendment in 1977 gave unrestrained power to amend any parts of the Constitution without judicial review. This essentially invalidated the Supreme Court's ruling in Kesavananda Bharati Case. 4 new Directive Principles were added. It gave High Courts the authority to "determine all questions as to the constitutional validity of any State law"
