Question:

The side of a square exceeds the side of another square by 4 cm and the sum of the areas of the two squares 400  cm2   . Then find the total surface area of such figures which is formed by the two cube. Which have dimensions same as the square given above.

first they have calculated each 5 sides of both cubes. for the common side, the common area of both area has been excluded.
