you have taken wrong value of Tan 60 in you solution

Question:
Two poles of equal heights are standing opposite to each other on either side of a road which is 150 m wide. From a point between them on the road, the angles of elevation of their tops are 30º and 60º. Then height of each pole in metres, is – 
Options:
A) 37.5\(\sqrt{3}\)
B) 25 \(\sqrt{3}\)
C) 28 \(\sqrt{3}\)
D) 30 \(\sqrt{3}\)

Now, its correct....

see:

AE/AB = tan60

AE/AB = root 3

AE = AB * root 3

so, AB = AE* 1/root 3
