in question paper questions were written in horrible language (Question: 107802.0 )

i missed questions just because i could not understand what is being asked

Question:

Neha, a working lady, earns x per month. If she spends \(\cfrac{2}{5}\)th of the earning for personal uses and \(\cfrac{3}{4}\)th of the personal uses, in the entertainment while she spends \(\cfrac{7}{20}\)th of the entertainment in movies only. Her salary would be, if the expenditure in movies is an integer:

Options:
A) Rs.4225 
B) Rs.2175
C) Rs.2000 
D) Rs.3465
Solution:
Ans: (c)


Here on checking options, we get that x = 2000 so, that \(\cfrac{42x}{400}\) 

is an integer.
