I think ANS b is also right (Question: 186226.1 )

what is wrong in option b?

Question:
DIRECTIONS: Select the related word/ number from the given alternatives. 
2:4:8 : 10:20:40 : : 3:6:9 : ?
Options:
A) 18:27:54
B) 5:10:18
C) 6:24:54
D) 15:30:45
Solution:
Ans: (d)

2 × 2 = 4 and 2 × 4 = 8

10 × 2 = 20 and 10 × 4 = 40

3 × 2 = 6 and 3 × 3 = 9

Therefore, 

15 × 2 = 30 and 15 × 3 = 45

@knowledge expert in case of 2:4:8 and 10:20:40 it goes as a difference of 8,16,32....that is single,double,triple. Similarly for 3:6:9 and 5:10:17 it will work as 2,4,8...single,double triple.Isn't it?
