please explain the question

Question:
How many pairs are there in the word 'HORIZON' which have as many letters between them as in the English alphabet ?
Options:
A) 3
B) 4
C) 6
D) 2

Alternate Sol:

Need to see number of pairs of words have as many letter as in English alphabet:

HORIZON

In forward direction:

HN

In reverse direction:

NO

OR

NR

So, required number of pair= 4

Dear Student,
We have to identify number of pairs in word HORIZON in which the gap between two letters is same as it is in english alphabets.

Example - O and N , here O and N are one after another with no letter in between and also in english alphabets O and N are consecutive.

Like this we have to count number of pairs.
