मिश्रण का अनुपात = \(16\times\cfrac{100}{125}=\unicode{x20B9} 12.80\)

\(\cfrac{Dearer\ wheat}{Cheaper\ wheat}\) =\(\cfrac{1}{15.00-12.80}\times \cfrac{12.80-9.50}{1}\)

=\(\cfrac{3.30}{2.20}=\cfrac{3}{2}\)

\(\therefore\) आवश्‍यक अनुपात = 3 : 2

Question:
A grocer buys two kinds of wheat at \(\unicode{x20B9} \)15.00 and \(\unicode{x20B9} \)9. 50 per kg, respectively. In what ratio should he mix so that by selling the mixture at \(\unicode{x20B9} \)16.00 a kg, 25 percent may be gained?
Options:
A) 2 : 1
B) 2 : 3
C) 3 : 2
D) 3 : 5
Solution:

CP of the mixture = \(16\times\cfrac{100}{125}=\unicode{x20B9} 12.80\)

\(\cfrac{Dearer\ wheat}{Cheaper\ wheat}\)     =\(\cfrac{1}{15.00-12.80}\times \cfrac{12.80-9.50}{1}\)

=\(\cfrac{3.30}{2.20}=\cfrac{3}{2}\)   

\(\therefore\)  Required ratio = 3 : 2
