Where u brought this qtions mAn it not in series with voltage coil it series opposition .....try to get it

Question:

In dynamometer wattmeter the compensation coil

Options:
A)

has equal number of turns of voltage coil and is connected in series with current coil

B)

has equal number of turns of current coil and is connected in series with voltage coil

C)

has equal number of turns of current coil and is connected in series with current coil

D)

has equal number of turns of voltage coil and is connected in series with voltage coil

Solution:

Ans:(b) In dynamometer compensating coil has equal number of turn of current coil.

The compensating coil is connected in series with the pressure coil circuit and is made nearly identical to the current coil. The current coil and the compensatig coil carry currents of (I + Ip) and Ip, respectively, and they produce fields corresponding to these currents. The compensating coil is so connected that it opposes the field of the current coil. Thus, the resultant field is due to current I only.

you are wrong compensation coil is connected in series with pressure coil .you are just ratta doing not understanding concepts.
