I dont who are crating the answer key please have some knowledge before gving answers mass is always constant

Question:
The mass of a body measured by a physical balance in a lift at rest is found to be 'm'. If the lift is going up with an acceleration 'a', its mass will be measured as –
Options:
A) m \(\left (1 - \cfrac {a}{g} \right )\)
B) m \(\left (1 + \cfrac {a}{g} \right )\)
C) m
D) zero
Solution:
Ans: (b) m' = \(\cfrac{mg + ma}{g}\)

= m + m \(\left ( \cfrac {a}{g} \right )\)

= m \(\left [1 + \cfrac {a}{g} \right ]\)
