why are u not including 1 over here..it should be 1,6,11..........

Question:
The average of the first fifteen natural numbers which leaves a remainder 1 when divided by 5 is –
Options:
A) 40
B) 41
C) 39
D) 42
Solution:
Ans: (b) The arrangement will be:-

6,11, 16 - - - -

\(\therefore \) 15th no. will be = 6 + 14 × 5 = 76

\(\therefore \) Average =  \(\cfrac{6 + 76}{2}\) = 41
