please sir elaborate this question

Question:
In a medical examination, by mistake a candidate gave his height as 25% more than normal. In the interview panel, he clarified that his height was 5 feet 5 inches. Find the percentage correction made by the candidates from his stated height to his actual height.
Options:
A) 20%
B) 28.56%
C) 25%
D) 22.5%
Solution:
Ans: (a) Height given in medical examination = 65 × 1.25

Height given in interview panel = 65

% correction made by student = \(\cfrac{65\times 1.25-65}{65\times 1.25}\times 100=20\%\)

1feet = 12 inches,

so 5feet 5inches= 65 inches his actual height (normal height)

but given extra in medical examination as 25% more than normal

65*1.25= 81.25 inches,

so % correction made from extra height he has given medical to normal or actual height

=(81.25-65) / 81.25 =20%

optio (A) - 20%
