very easy question

Question:
A bag contains 25 paise, 50 paise and Rs.1 Coins. There are 220 coins in all and the total amount in the bag is Rs.160. If there are thrice as many Rs.1 coins as there are 25 paise coins, what is the difference between the number of 50 paise coins and 25 paise coins?
Options:
A) 20
B) 40
C) 60
D) 120
Solution:

Ans: (a)

Let 25 paise coins = x

Rs.1 coins = 3x

 50 paise coins = 220 – 4x

Amount= 25x + 300x + 11000 – 200x = 16000

= 5000 = 125x

 x = 40

25 paise coins = 40

50 paise coins = 60

Difference is 20 coins
