As both the phasors are in same quadrature(i.e. in 1st Quadrant) Phase angle should be the difference of 2 phases.
45-30 = 15 is correct answer

Question:

Two sinusoidal currents are given by the equations i1 = 50 sin  ωt+ π4 and i2 = 25 ωt+ π6 . The phase difference between then is ......... degrees.

Options:
A)

15

B)

30

C)

45

D)

75

Solution:

Ans:(b)  Δϕ=45O + 30O = 75O
