sir ,
i could not understand your solution so pls give more brief solution

Question:
16 women take 12 days to complete a work which can be completed by 12 men in 8 days, 16 men started working and after 3 days 10 men left and 4 women joined them. How many days will it take them to complete the remaining work?
Options:
A) 4
B) 6
C) 8
D) 10
Solution:

\(\therefore\) Total work = 16 × 1 × 12        (from I)

                    = 192 units

Now, work done by 16 men in 3 days

= 16 × 2 × 3

= 96 units

Now, 10 mens left and 4 women join

and remaining work = 192 – 96 = 96 unit

\(\therefore\) Time to complete the remaining work

Dear Student,

explanation:-

16 women's work in 1 days = 1/12
1 women's work in 1 days = 1/(12x16)

12 men's work in 1 days = 1/8
1 men's work in 1 days = 1/(12x8)

compare men's work and women's work.

1/(12x16) Women = 1/(12x8) Men.
1 women = 2 Men
16 men's work in 3 days= 1/(12x8) X3x16
= 1/2 work
Remaining work = 1-(1/2) =1/2
10 men left and 4 women joined= 6+2= 8 men because 1 women = 2 Men

8 men's work in 1 day= 1/(12x8)x8

= 1/12 part of work

days for complete 1/2 part of work= 1/(2) / 1/(12)= 6 days.
