General Solution (Question: 108140.0 )

Please provide general solution and then shortcut techniques.

In this question a quaratic equation will be formed.

On solving we get two values -1/2 and 2. Only possible value being 2.

Question:
If, secθ – cosθ = \(\cfrac{3}{2}\) where θ is a positive acute angle, then the value of secθ is:
Options:
A) 0
B) \(-\cfrac{1}{2}\)
C) 1
D) 2
