Where the fuck is the AVERAGE mentioned in the hindi version of the question.

Question:

Directions: The following table shows the number of visa applications received and approved for six different countries. Study the table carefully and answer the questions that follow.

  

 What is the ratio of average number of visa applications rejected by all the countries in the year 1991 to the average number of visa applications rejected to country P during 1991-1995?


Options:
A)

 80 : 99

B)

 10 : 11

C)

 5 : 6

D)

 17 : 23

Solution:

Visa applications rejected in 1991 = 30+50+110+100+20+10=320  

Average = 320/6 = 160/3 

Visa applications rejected by country P = 30+20+100+50+130=330   

Average =  3305=66   

Ratio =  160/3  :  66  =  80 : 99
